Easy Slow-Cooker Mozzarella-Stuffed Meatballs And Sauce Servings: 14-16 meatballs

INGREDIENTS:

Sauce:

  • Sauce 7 cups crushed tomato
  • ⅓ cup onion
  • chopped 2 cloves garlic
  • crushed 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Meatballs:

  • 1 pound beef
  • 1 pound mild sausage
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ⅓ cup onion
  • chopped ¼ cup parmesan

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut into 4-5 even pieces each

PREPARATION

Combine all sauce ingredients in slow cooker and stir. Set to high and cover while making meatballs, or for 30 minutes. Combine all meatball ingredients except the mozzarella in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix until fully combined. Take a golf ball sized piece of the ground beef mixture and place a piece of mozzarella in the middle. Press meat around the piece of cheese, fully enclosing it. Repeat until all meat is used. Place meatballs in slow cooker and submerge in sauce. Cover and cook on high for 2-2½ hours, or until meat is fully cooked. Serve over pasta. Enjoy!

For this recipe, you will need:

  •  4 tbs butter
  •  1.5 lb chicken
  •  1 teaspoon salt
  •  1 teaspoon pepper
  •  1 teaspoon oregano
  •  1 teaspoon basil
  •  .25 cup parsley
  •  4 cloves of garlic, minced
  •  3 tablespoons flour
  •  2 cups milk
  •  1 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  •  16 ounces penne pasta

Directions: In a large saucepan, heat .5 tablespoons butter until melted. Once melted, add 1.5lb chicken, .5 teaspoon salt, .5 teaspoon pepper, .5 teaspoon oregano, and .5 teaspoon basil to the mixture. Stir and cook on medium-low heat until chicken is fully cooked. Transfer to a bowl and place in a warm area. In a new or same emptied saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons butter over medium-low until melted. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and half of the flour. Cook until the garlic begins to soften. Add the second half of the flour and 2 cups of milk. Stir. Add .5 teaspoon salt, .5 teaspoon pepper, .5 teaspoon oregano, and .5 teaspoon basil to the mixture. Add .5 cup parmesan and stir until melted. Add .3 grams of 99% pure CBD Isolate Powder and mix until dissolved. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Reduce heat and add penne pasta and cook fully. Strain pasta and pour into a mixing bowl. Add CBD infused cheese sauce and cooked chicken. This recipe makes approximately 24, 40mg cookies.

For this recipe, you will need:

Ingredients:

  • 2 sticks (1 cup) salted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup potato chips finely crushed
  • 25 caramel candies
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Coarse sea salt
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. In a bowl, mix butter and sugar until very fluffy (about 10 minutes). Add vanilla and half of the flour. Mix. Add the rest of the flour. Mix. 5 Natural Ways to Help Relieve Anxiety

40 million Americans suffer from an anxiety disorder, making them one of the most common mental health illnesses in the country. Millennials have even been dubbed the anxiety generation, with numerous studies showing that this generation suffers from anxiety at a much higher rate than others. Meditation

Mindful meditation is the practice of training the brain to stay in the moment. One of the largest contributors to anxiety is the inability to rid the mind of thoughts from the past or fears regarding the future. Dr. Elizabeth Hoge, a psychiatrist at the Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Disorders explains, “People with anxiety have a problem dealing with distracting thoughts that have too much power. They can’t distinguish between a problem-solving thought and a nagging worry that has no benefit.” Mindful meditation, which can be practiced at meditation studios or from the comfort of your home teaches the brain to refocus on the present when thoughts are wandering. Regardless if you choose to practice yoga, join a gym, participate in a team sport or just walk your dog, getting into a routine of daily exercise will avoid symptoms of inactive anxiety as well as promote a healthy stress response.

Practice Gratitude

As previously mentioned, feelings of anxiety often stem from overwhelming negative thoughts or concerns about certain circumstances going on or could potentially happen in your life. The practice of feeling grateful is an incredibly simple way of diverting your negative thoughts into something positive. Do you have a roof over your head? A family and/or group of friends that love you? A talent or characteristic that makes you unique? The next time you are overwhelmed by the negatives in your life, redirect your thoughts to those things you are grateful for. In fact, according to one study conducted in 2005, making a daily habit of writing down what you are thankful for, will contribute to your overall happiness immediately as well as in the days and weeks after.

Limit caffeine and alcohol

Both caffeine and alcohol are stimulants which can stimulate your “fight or flight” response making your anxiety worse. Some people with social anxiety will turn to alcohol, not realizing that this stimulant can worsen the side effects of anxiety. This is the same for caffeine. One too many cups of coffee in the morning can perpetuate those uneasy feelings that stem from feeling anxious. Rather than reaching for a caffeinated latte in the morning, try sipping on some camomile tea, which the UK’s University of Nottingham Medical School has determined to decrease anxiety and even fight depression significantly.
