Understanding The Difference

Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum vs. CBD Isolate

Full Spectrum |  <0.3% THC

Full Spectrum CBD products are created from hemp through a full plant extraction. They contain naturally occurring cannabinoids (includes <0.3% THC), plant terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, and plant proteins of the original hemp source. These compounds work together, typically referred to as the “Entourage Effect,” multiplying the potential health benefits.

Includes All active hemp-derived cannabinoids

Broad Spectrum |  0% THC*

Broad Spectrum CBD products are created by taking Full Spectrum extract and further processing it to remove trace amounts of THC. Broad Spectrum products contain an array of naturally occurring cannabinoids, plant terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, and plant proteins of the original hemp source. Similar to Full Spectrum products, these compounds work together in what is known as the “Entourage Effect,” multiplying the potential health benefits.

Includes Most active hemp-derived cannabinoids EXCEPT for THC
Third party tested to ensure non-detectable levels of THC (less than .01%)

CBD Isolate |  0% THC

CBD Isolate is created by removing all other molecules, except CBD, from the Full Spectrum extract, leaving the CBD in an anhydrous state. All that remains is a white powder that is at least 99% pure CBD with 0% THC. This powder is applied into various CBD Isolate products such as oils, edibles, topicals and vapes.

Includes ONLY 99% +/- pure hemp-derived CBD

CBG + CBD | <0.3% THC

CBG (cannabigerol) is known as “the stem cell of the hemp plant.” It is generally found in levels of < 1% in most strains of hemp and is a precursor molecule for many cannabinoids such as CBD and THC. CBDistillery™ sources CBG from unique U.S. grown hemp strains which contain high levels of CBG. This high quality extract is used to create an incredibly effective propriety full spectrum blend.

Proprietary full spectrum blend containing equal levels of CBD and CBG, with < 0.3% THC

CBN + CBD | <0.3% THC

CBDistillery™ CBN oil is a proprietary full spectrum blend containing a 1:3 ratio of CBN to CBD, with < 0.3% THC, and other active minor cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. These compounds work together, typically referred to as the “Entourage Effect,” to multiply the health benefits. CBD, combined with CBN, can be used as an effective and natural sleep aid. In addition, a proprietary terpene blend that includes lavender plant extracts is added to further improve your sleep, naturally.

CBDistillery™ Production Process

CBDistillery™, the leader in the CBD industry, oversees every aspect of production from initial soil testing to packaging and distribution. When you select CBDistillery™ hemp-derived products, your CBD oil is sourced from non-GMO industrial hemp grown using natural farming methods. We use only food-safe extraction methods, and our products are verified by an independent third-party testing facility for purity and potency.

Before our naturally cultivated, non-GMO industrial hemp can be utilized to create your CBD product, the cannabinoid-rich oil must be extracted from the plant. The extraction process selected depends on how the extract will be used.

The CBD oil in our full-spectrum products is CO2 extracted. At standard temperature, carbon dioxide is a gas. When pressurized, the CO2 liquefies and pulls the desired components from the hemp as the plant matter is filtered through a series of pressurized chambers. As the pressure is released, the CO2 converts back to its gaseous state and released from the oil. Finally, the extract is distilled.

The CBD used for our 0% THC products is extracted with ethanol. After the initial extraction process, the oil is heated to activate the cannabinoids (decarboxylation). A third process (winterization) then removes the unwanted fatty acids, cannabinoids, terpenes, and other plant components. After processing, all that remains of the original hemp extract is a crystalline CBD powder.

Importance of Lab Testing

Your CBD experience is largely determined by the purity and potency of the products you select. Far too often people place their trust in companies selling low-quality, potentially contaminated products that contain far less CBD than specified on the product label. That is why it is essential to protect yourself from a disappointing experience by purchasing your CBD oil from a reputable source.

CBDistillery™ sets the standard for quality. All our products are created using non-GMO industrial hemp grown in the U.S. using natural farming practices and are third-party tested to ensure quality and consistency. We follow stringent industry guidelines set forth by the FDA. Every CBD product is lab tested for quality and potency. You can verify the potency, purity, and safety of all CBDistillery™ products by viewing the third-party test results on our website or scanning the QR code on your product label.

How to Know You're Buying Pure CBD

Your CBD experience is largely determined by the purity and potency of the products you select. Purchasing CBD through CBDistillery™ is easy with our labels that clearly display the CBD content in each product. You can scan the QR code on each product to view third-party test results and confirm that the CBD product you select meets regulatory requirements.

CBDistillery™ follows stringent industry guidelines set forth by the FDA. We are proud to be certified by the U.S. Hemp Authority, which provides guidelines within our industry. Each of our products represents our dedication to quality with ISO 9001, Natural Farming Practice, Lab Tested Potency & Purity, and the U.S. Hemp Authority seals on all our labels.

“The 2018 Farm Bill is proving to be the final nail in the coffin for the Federal Government’s long-standing moratorium on funding research designed to elucidate the full therapeutic potential of cannabinoids, or for that matter, any research that may have ultimately undermined the antiquated and hypocritical scheduling of cannabis as Schedule 1. What we are seeing right now is the ushering in of the golden age of cannabinoid research. While we still have a long way to go to makeup for almost 80 years of lost time, one can’t help but feel optimistic as we move to an era where fact- and science-based data can drive rational decisions in areas such as medicine, policy, and personal liberty.”
